4th and 5th Graders, its time to
get ready for the 13th Annual
Elementary Rockets Program

The Elementary Rockets Program 2012 Launch is scheduled for May 9th from 2:30 to 6:00 PM. 4th and 5th grade students will launch their rockets on the grounds of Horace Mann Middle School in the main soccer field. These students will experience the excitement of assembling a model rocket and running their own rocket launch.

The Building Sessions are at Spaceport Sheboygan, May 1, 2, 3, 7, & 8, 2012. 6pm

Participation will be limited to 200 students, on a first-come-first–serve basis. During early April,
each participant will receive an informational packet regarding their participation in the
Elementary Rocket Launch.

How to Register

1. Click on the Application Form below and fill it in online and print it, or just print it out and then please print clearly.

2. Mail the form along with a check made payable to Spaceport Sheboygan.

(You may pay at the building session with a credit card if you want.)

3. Once registered, you will receive an informational packet in early April regarding your participation in the Elementary Rocket Launch including information on the building session (date, time & location), team assignments and launch times.

PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED SO GET YOUR APPLICATIONS IN EARLY

The students will be assigned to a team that they will stay with during the assembly and launch periods. They will assemble their rockets individually. Parents and Rockets For Schools advisors will be there for assistance.

The students will receive and assemble their rockets on  May 1, 2, 3, 7, & 8, 2012. 6pm. at the Spaceport Sheboygan, (The Armory) at the 516 Broughton Drive. The rockets will be launched on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. at the Horace Mann Middle School main soccer field at 2820 Union Avenue, Sheboygan.

The fee covers your rocket kit, motor and all the materials necessary to assemble your rocket.
